LOS ANGELES - Jurors in the O.J. Simpson murder trial will hear about crucial

blood evidence and how it was gathered when his trial resumes Monday.

Expected to take the stand is Los Angeles Police Department criminalist Dennis

Fung, who will testify about blood samples, hair and carpet fibers and other key

pieces of evidence prosecutors hope will link Simpson to the murders of ex-wife

Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman. Trial watchers expect

Simpson's defense team to level their attack on physical evidence and how it was

gathered, which many believe to be the most vulnerable portion of the

prosecution's case against the football legend.

Fung and other forensic specialists are expected to bear the brunt of the attack,

which likely will center on the integrity of the evidence and the reliability of any

  DNA results obtained.

Earlier testimony disclosed that Fung waited nearly three weeks to collect blood

samples. The defense intends to portray Fung and his colleagues as bunglers who

trampled through the bloody walkway at the crime scene, confused samples and

otherwise botched portions of the investigation. O.J.'s body language, 2A
